Creating my own small business—that's how Purely Typed was born! Even though Purely Typed was founded in late 2025, my experience and passion for writing, editing, and mentoring go back well over a decade! I've had my own work published, won awards for it, and been featured in a magazine for my art. But I still longed to help others reach their writing goals. I feel as though, as a fellow writer/creator, it gives me a better understanding of the entire publishing process, along with lived experience and being part of the book community. I keep up with trends, tropes, and as an avid book reader, I am well-versed in all things typed. This gives me a key advantage in knowing what you're looking for as a writer.
